Lauren and Jed. These two, seriously. They did things a little differently and I LOVED IT and might have been a little spoiled. First, we did their engagement session. Then, we did a First Look session, something I had never done before and it was Lauren’s idea! Several days before the wedding, Lauren, Jed, Mitch and I met at the Oak Ridge Estates. Lauren and Jed brought their wedding attire to change into. I helped Lauren into her dress, positioned Jed where he needed to be and they did a First Look. Then, we spent the rest of our time together taking bride and groom portraits. You can see that post here. Then on the actual wedding day, we captured details, getting ready, the ceremony, family pictures and a little bit more bride and groom. It was amazing!
The day of was cold, wet and rainy. But oh my gosh, THE COLORS WERE INSANE!! Mother Nature was showing off with such incredible fall colors. It may have been cold outside, but our hearts were warm and we loved every bit of this day.
Lauren’s dad made all those benches. They were soooo beautiful and I might have bartered a couple benches for a hardcover book. No shame.
Just because they had seen each other days prior, that didn’t diminish the emotion they both felt.
They both choked their way through their vows. We were so honored to be part of such an intimate ceremony.
We look a ton of family pictures afterwards and then…
BRIDE AND GROOM WITH THESE COLORS YASSSSSS.
After that, they were off to their reception to put on jeans and hoodies, eat BBQ, have a beer and relax with their friends and family! So perfect! Even though the sun never came out, it was the perfect day and I’m totally in love with these images and this couple!! Lauren and Jed! You both are so amazing and I’m SO HAPPY to have met you!! Lauren, I’ll send you book options soon. ;)
